Due to continued successful growth, a £15M turnover subsidiary of a $ multi-billion organisation based in Cambridgeshire, is seeking a Test Engineer to work closely with the Technical Project Manager and wider teams within the business on all bespoke product and process development projects. You’ll have the the opportunity for personal development and career growth within a broad and varied role that includes both hands-on and fixture testing, process and validating materials, performance, user experience, analysis reporting, lab work, bench marking competitors with potential domestic and international travel for technical support to stakeholders including annual trade events in the near future.

Ideally you will have design of products compliant with Intrinsic safety (ATEX, IECEx) and CE mark with use of 3D CAD/SolidWorks and product data management to generate 2D drawing pack. Experience of NPD manufacturing processes including injection moulding, tolerance analysis and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing is desirable. Use of simulation tools ideally Comsol or Finite Element Analysis and material selection knowledge of ATEX would be an advantage. ​​​​​
